Coolangatta Surf Life Saving Club Boat section has 3 crews competing and a womens crew in training. This year we have a Reserve grade crew, 160's and 180's masters crews. We also have several women in training across a range of ages and as a result are looking to develop an open and 120+ crew. Coolangatta Surf Life Saving Club has two South Coast boats that compete speedily and train well, and take delivery of a new Clymer boat at the end of November. We have three accredited, experienced sweeps and unoffical links to the local stillwater club to enhance training and technique. In the previous few years some success includes winning the masters VB cup in 2004, runner up in 2006, state champions 180's in 2005, Under 21's making the final at the Aussies in 2005. We offer a high standard of coaching, good equipment, plus a fun, social and safe environment.
